Day Twenty Two Travel Day

 Up bright and early. Heading back to Sydney to catch a plane to Melbourne. Had to drop the hire car off. Much to Howard's delight he'd managed 5 days driving without incurring the 3000 dollar insurance excess. P drivers (newly passed their test, we assumed) seemed to be like magnets to our car.  Luckily this one passed us without any mishaps!

Train back to Sydney -again 5 dollars for a 3 hour ride! Three hours in Sydney drinking cheap beer in an Irish bar and cheap Japanese food in the nearest mall, then off to airport. Uneventful apart from both getting thoroughly searched going through security! (Swarthy sun tans?) 

Got to Melbourne 9.30pm and collected by someone connected to the apartment. Whizzed us round the city to St Kilda's and eventually found our apartment. All I can say is - no wonder it's cheap!! And no Wifi!!!!! How will I survive? Email to agent. Oh yes, no wifi to send it!
