Day Fifteen The Blue Mountains

Wow, wow, wow! How do we describe the Blue Mountains experience to do it justice? Perfect weather - sunny but not too hot. Got a hop on hop off tram that took us to a good place to start exploring.

Got off at Gordon's Falls. Views spectacular and luckily there was one other person there so no selfie required!  First track was about an hour's trek from the start, quite easy underfoot, although quite steep in places.
Met the tram again, one hour later, and got off at Echo Point - one of the most visited and photographed places in the world. From here you can see the Three Sisters peaks. Very busy with tourists but once we started on the next cliff top hike the crowds thinned out.

Again, spectacular views and a bit steeper and sometimes a bit wet underfoot with the occasional hazard thrown in - like a fallen tree!

... and getting lost in the jungle. Where's Maggie?

Met the tram again and decided to get off in the next town for lunch. The driver stopped and took a photo of us at the most photographed spot on the tour!

Only 11,600 steps recorded but pedometer says we've done 33 flights of stairs so nae bad for two pensioners!

Rewarded ourselves with lunch! Manage to wing not only pensioner passes for the tram but  two day passes for the price of one. So, going to fill in the gaps tomorrow or go exploring the caves!
